Nathalye Abreu (She/Her):

is a 2023 graduate from Rutgers the State University and has achieved a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. From Union City, New Jersey, Nathalye has received training at Union City High School and Yolanda's Dance Academy, with additional trainings from programs such as New York Univerty's Future Dancers and Dancemakers. She has worked with choreographers such as Kyle Marshall, Eric Parra, Emma Russo, Cristen Pennello, Alessio Trevisani, John Evans, Kim Elliot, and Nicolette Alberti.

Nathalye has had additional training at Accademia Dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy for their Summer Intensive where she studied European techniques and influences, improvisational skills and partnering techniques. Because of her interest in movement and its benefits, she has completed her certification in a

500-hour teacher training comprehension Pilates program where she teaches as a Pilates Instructor across North and Central Jersey. Nathalye continues to be motivated and focused on her work as an artist and collaborating with other movers to further develop her connection to movement and the conversation it promotes on human connection based social and gender norms, relations to space and energy, and abstract ideas that challenge patterns and familiarity. She hopes to continue to use her artistry to challenge and question these norms of society to discover new questions and thought process to allow her to use movement to further inform her on mental and physical well being in relation to herself, those around her, and the energy. that comes with it.

Singing & Dance
Sydney Marsh (She/Her):

Sydney Marsh (she/her) is a NYC/NJ based performer from Connecticut and is a graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she received her BFA in dance. While in school, Sydney received the prestigious Margery J. Turner Award for choreography and was chosen for her work to be showcased at the American College Dance Association adjudication. In addition to her college education, Sydney has trained at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, Bates Dance Festival, and the Centre National de la Danse in Paris and Lyon, France. She continued her studies overseas to work with Flockworks at Orsolina28 Art Foundation in Italy where she focused on partnering and collaboration. Alongside performing in works by Florian Lochner and Alice Klock, Sydney has also worked with renowned artists such as Gerald Casel, Kun-Yang Lin, John Evans, and Earl Mosley.

is a dancer, choreographer, and aspiring Dance/Movement Therapist from Bridgewater, NJ. She received degrees in dance and psychology from Rutgers University, pursuing a BA in psychology and a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. Erica is currently working toward her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling at Drexel University. Erica hopes to combine her passions for dance, movement, psychology, mental health, and wellness in her future artistic and professional endeavors. She feels very thankful to have family, friends, peers, and educators that supports her in everything she does.

Shelby Bakota (she/her) is a choreographer, performer, and teacher from Woodbury, New Jersey. Bakota focused her classical ballet studies at Ballet NJ under David Gallagher. She attended Gloucester County Institute of Technology, where she trained in modern, ballet, and contemporary forms. Bakota graduated with a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, she trained in modern, ballet, contemporary, improvisation, and cultural dance forms. She has performed in works by Pam Tanowitz, John Evans, Niall Jones, Alfdaniels Mabingo, and multiple student choreographers. In addition to dance, Bakota also instructs yoga, which provides a different approach to movement and the body. Her choreography has been performed at festivals in NYC and throughout New Jersey. Currently, Shelby performs with AMMDCO in Philadelphia and Leigha Bartko in NJ. She is also a freelance choreographer and teacher in South Jersey and Philadelphia. 

Shelby Bakota (She/her):

Arianna Bealer (she /her):

Arianna Bealer is a dancer and choreographer from Bethlehem, PA. She is a recent graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, earning her BFA in Dance and Environmental Studies. During her time at Mason Gross, Bealer had the opportunity to work with artists Keerati Jinakunwiphat, Seán Curran, Ani Javian, John Evans, and more. Bealer also had the opportunity to study abroad in London at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, as well as earning her comprehensive certification in Polestar Pilates. Arianna is currently a lecturer at Mason Gross School of the Arts where she teaches Pilates mat classes. Bealer is a freelance artist and Pilates instructor based in the NYC/NJ area.

Mia Canzonieri:

 A 3rd-year dance major at Mason Gross School of the Arts in the BFA program for dance. They grew up in Roxbury NJ dancing at The Dance Connection in Rockaway NJ as well as the Roxbury High School Advanced Dance program until entering Mason Gross School of the Arts in the Fall of 2022. They have worked with choreographers such as Thang Dao, Ani Javian, Omar Roman De Jesus, and Bradly Beakes in a restaging of ‘A Choreographic Offering’ by Josè Limòn. They have also interned over the summer with the Josè Limòn Dance Foundation.
